Ghada Alhussein

Ghada is a Ph.D. candidate in the biomedical engineering department, at Khalifa University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on the development of emotional climate recognition (ECR) system using artificial intelligence. She is passionate about AI research and its applications in healthcare fields.

Her research works have been selected as the second-best research work among 40 global research works at the IEEE conference for Digital Health, Barcelona, Spain, where she also received a student grant.  She was also awarded the Best Research Award in Women in Research Forum, Sharjah, UAE, where her research was selected among 378 works from 64 universities across the Arabian Gulf countries. In addition to that, Ghada previously received the prestigious Hamdan Award for Distinguished Academic Performance and have been on the KUST Honors List for being among the top-achieving students at Khalifa University.
