Dr. Ali AbdulKareem AlHammadi is a researcher, founder, and CEO of Farmin. He has received his PhD and master’s in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Rice University, USA, and his bachelor’s from the Petroleum Institute, Abu Dhabi. His company has developed a platform using remote sensing and deep learning to efficiently monitor key commodities and provide critical insights for smart cities. The new technology improves the resolution of image capture needed to make such assessments, thereby improving the accuracy to exceed 97% on average, improving efficiency and cost, while still being capable of integration with current technology such as IoT and Live Camera whenever necessary to complement the company’s solutions.
