Valerio Magliulo is the co-founder of Abatable, a carbon intelligence and procurement platform that helps carbon project developers connect and transact with mission-aligned corporates and investors.

The voluntary carbon markets are widely seen as a critical tool to achieve a net zero carbon future and halt the course of climate change. However, these markets are still opaque, with little transparency around pricing and quality. Abatable connects companies that want to invest in positive climate contributions and project developers that are building those solutions. The platform gathers and leverages vast amount of data points available to generate actionable market intelligence and quality assessments to facilitate transaction between parties. Abatable provides worldwide project developers with the tools and support to scale and finance carbon solutions.

Prior to Abatable, Valerio held various product leadership positions at leading tech companies such as Meta, Google DeepMind and Monzo Bank. He dedicates his spare time to mentoring social entrepreneurs and product professionals through organisations like Bloomentor and Techstars, and volunteers for LGBTQ+ inclusion in primary and secondary schools in the UK with Diversity Role Models.
