David is a Doctoral Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University and the founder of the 3D printing startup, Consistency. His work is focused on metal additive manufacturing, leveraging artificial intelligence to improve the consistency of the printing quality. He is the leading author of over ten peer-reviewed scientific articles collaborating with more than twenty scientists and engineers. He received the MASc degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2016. He worked as a Research Assistant with the American University in Cairo, New Cairo, Egypt, and the University of Toronto. He joined the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada, as a Research Associate. He joined the Edward S. Rogers, Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of Toronto as a Visiting Researcher. He worked as a Design Engineer with Trimble, Inc.- Applanix, ON, Canada.
